ALL About AUTUMN
Autumn Raye Arthur is a novelist, playwright, actor, director, and pansexual laundry temptress. She collects books, things that look like books but that aren’t really books, and blank books that are too pretty to write in. A Subaru Forester once saved her from certain death, so she has sworn a life debt that remains unpaid. She breaks into song or random accents without warning, and often at the same time. She currently lives in Connecticut with her four-pound Chihuahua, and varying quantities of pet spiders. Shut up. They’re really cute.

HOBBIES & HYPERFIXATIONS:
Jumping spider keeping, crocheting, "You're the One that I Want" covered by Jack Wolfe, designing tiny houses and vans, collecting Stranger Things Funko Pops, Javvy protein coffee, Joseph Quinn being able to say something different with his eyes than he says with words, Christmas trees, making oversized books as theatrical props, Camryn Manheim just being wonderful, putting stickers on my water bottles, trying to knit and going back to crocheting, Andy Serkis narrating Tolkien, midcentury modern decor and atomic kitsch, ethical hamster care, my mom's potluck staples, the proshots of Merrily We Roll Along and Next to Normal, the horrific state of American politics and the moral bankruptcy of the Trump administration, the existential dread produced by the latter, overuse of commas, vigorously defending James Gunn's DCU, Jurassic Park velociraptors even though I know very damn well that they're deinonychus because velociraptors were much smaller but Michael Crichton thought they sounded cooler than deinonychus and he was right, underuse of commas, marine mammal conservation, David Corenswet's smile when Lois says "I love you too" at the end of Superman, folding laundry like it's retail, trying to knit again and still just crocheting instead, the opening sequence of Stranger Things: The First Shadow, making up songs about my dog, Clark remembering to bring in his cereal bowl, watching my jumping spiders catch their prey, being devoted to Subarus after my first one saved my life in a double rollover car crash because I was rear-ended by a guy having a heart attack (seriously, buy a Subaru), Jessie Buckley in The Bride, wishing I got awarded for reading as an adult like I did when I was a kid, making up scenes in my head that sometimes turn into amazing things if I remember to write them down, shark movies even if they're bad, lilacs and ferns, blue butterflies, and oh my god did you read this whole thing?
